We are proud to offer private, Montessori Kindergarten that is certified by both the California Department of Education and the International Montessori Society.
All programs designed and implemented at Camarillo Progressive Montessori School meet and/or exceed local and State requirements, yet are not limited by Common Core Curriculum. Our teaching practices, standards and policies include Montessori Curriculum with a progressive approach to higher education. At times, we may include additional academic approaches to advance conventional classroom learning styles while nurturing individual thinking skills.
Enrollment is easy, All children entering preschool - Kindergarten must comply with state standards by having current immunizations or a waiver, if on a delayed schedule. We are certified by the California Department of Education with our Private School Affidavit.
You and your family will be invited to attend our field trips, called off-site activities. We have them in the fall (in October), and the other during the spring (March or April). We have visited farms, children's museums, parks & taken train rides and gone bowling!
Our family fun days are designed to encourage personal growth and development aligned with our philosophy and school curriculum. Everyone love to get together and make new friends, young and old. Come join us, the more, the merrier! We will give you more information as they approach.
